CSI - RAIT is a registered student branch of the CSI under the Mumbai section. CSI - RAIT was established in the year 2001 with the goal of inculcating interest among students with regards to research as well as application of the knowledge that we receive in our engineering education.

The student chapter of CSI has one of the highest memberships in Bombay and has done substantial work in the last few years. This organization believes in encouraging the scientific temperament among the students.

CSI - RAIT continues student interaction around the year by organizing - Industrial visits to various institutes and organization like DAKC, Indian Railways (Tele Communications Dept.) etc.

Seminars on Robotics, GRE & GMAT, Programming languages in various colleges of Mumbai.

Workshops on Game programming, Hacking, Robotics.

Our annual technical festival named TechMate , in September and the festival of CSI Bombay section named TechKnow, in February every year. The event comprises of Robotics competitions, technical paper presentations, programming and hardware contests and many new events are introduced each year.
